Country singer Ty Myers is set to perform at the Payne Arena in Hidalgo on February 5, 2026. 

Following Myers’ recent announcement of his new album “Heavy on the Soul,” his tour has kicked off and made its way to the Rio Grande Valley. He will be performing songs from his debut album “The Select” as his new album has not been released yet.

Fans are very excited to hear some of the most popular songs on his setlist that he has lined up for the tour. Some of his fan-favorites that he will be playing include “Thought It Was Love” and “Ends of the Earth.” After hearing this, many Falcon students have already bought tickets and plan on attending the concert. 

Senior Matthew Gomez is very enthusiastic about the upcoming concert because he enjoys listening to country music. This is an exciting opportunity for him because many of his other friends, who are also fans of the country genre, will be attending alongside him.

“I am a huge fan of Ty Myers and am ready to finally hear him perform live,” Gomez said.

Mr. Thompson, a biology teacher, is also thrilled to hear about the concert. As a lifelong fan of country music, he was especially excited to hear about a new artist performing in our area.

“I haven’t heard many songs from this guy, but all of my students have been talking about his upcoming concert, so I will have to give his music a listen,” Thompson said.
