Senior Events       

• Graduation 

The Los Fresnos High School Commencement will be held at Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 25 at 7:30 PM. Gates will open at 6 pm and tickets are not required to be purchased to enter the event. The ceremony will also be live-streamed on the LFCISD YouTube channel if you are unable to attend the event. 

• Prom 

Prom will be held on Saturday, May 4th at Amigo Land Event Center in Brownsville Tx from 7-11 pm. This year’s theme is Enchanted Forest. The junior class had been working hard in preparing for the dance and were excited for it to finally be here. The last day to purchase tickets will be Friday, May 3 after school. You won’t want to miss out!

• Elementary Walk

Seniors will have the opportunity to visit their elementary schools one last time before they go off to college. If you are a senior, you can visit the office to receive more information on signing up so that you can take part in this event. 

Junior Events 

• Academic Awards Night 

The junior academic awards night will be held on May 8 in the Los Fresnos High School front gym. You can check the bulletin board outside the counselor’s office to see if you are qualified to attend the awards ceremony. If you were invited to attend, you may have also received an invitation in the mail. The ceremony will honor junior students who have had excellent grades all year long and have worked hard, so if you were invited, make plans to attend.

• Baseball Games

The varsity baseball team is currently in the playoffs. Their next game is on Friday, May 3rd. Make sure to purchase your ticket so that you can support the team. 

• Last Day of School

The last day of school will be on Thursday, May 23rd.
