Los Fresnos High School students are ready for a week of rest and relaxation, as this year’s Thanksgiving break takes place from November 24-28.
This break gives students and teachers time to rest and connect with their families after being at school for such a long time. Students and staff are ready to enjoy a well-deserved break from their normal academic routines, celebrated with an entire week off.
Thanksgiving serves as a time to look back on your blessings and be thankful for not only the things you have, but the people you surround yourself with. Many individuals take the opportunity to even travel out of town, just to spend time with their families.
Senior Kiki Garza is especially excited for this upcoming break.
“I’m so glad we have time off from school so I can go see my best friends perform at their cheer competition this weekend,” Garza said.
Senior Maddie Anderson is also overjoyed about her upcoming time off.
“I’m ready to go watch the new Wicked movie and see Elphaba on the big screen,” Anderson said.
