The Los Fresnos Rodeo will be held this weekend on February 20-22. With live music, multiple vendors, and a carnival, many from the community of Los Fresnos and other neighboring towns get tickets to visit.

The country artists that are headlining are Braxton Keith, Randall King, and Annie Bosko. Some popular songs will be played such as “Cozy” and “Under Them Neons” by Braxton Keith and “You In A Honky Tonk” by Randall King, drawing in more attendees. Seeing more well-known artists in Los Fresnos is a great way to promote foot traffic and build community. 

Senior Madeline Anderson attended the rodeo last year and plans to attend again.

“I am so excited to see Braxton Keith sing his heart out,” Anderson said. “It’s going to be very fun yelling all of his songs with my besties.”

Senior Tatiana Villareal is also looking forward to spending time with her friends and family at the rodeo.

“My favorite thing to watch at the rodeo are the barrel racers,” Villareal said. “I’m ready to sit down with my funnel cake and have the best time.”
