The new Zootopia 2 movie will be released in theaters on November 26. 

Fans have been waiting almost three years, as the creators confirmed in February 2023 that there would be a Zootopia 2. Fans unable to catch it in theatres over Thanksgiving week will be able to watch it on Disney+ after a few weeks or months. 

In the original Zootopia movie, Judy Hopps becomes the first rabbit police officer in the city of Zootopia, where prey and predators live together, and she must work with con artist fox named Nick Wilde to uncover a conspiracy that threatens the city’s peace. In this new movie, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde must go undercover to solve a case involving a mysterious reptile named Gary De’Snake, and a hidden reptile population. Their partnership is tested as they navigate unfamiliar parts of the city to solve the mystery.

Junior Gabriela Castro says she is very excited to watch this new movie.

“I hope it’s as good as the first one,” Castro said. “I first watched Zootopia when i was younger and fell in love with the movie. Usually sequels of Disney movies aren’t as good as the original, but i have high hopes”

Junior Kayla Espinoza says she is very interested in seeing what will happen in this movie.

“I am excited to see what will happen in this movie and how their adventures will go, and I am interested in seeing how this movie relates to the first one,” Espinoza said. “I hope this movie can be as good as the first one.”
