Several Falcon students have seen the movie recently, and all that were interviewed shared their love for it.
“I liked it because it is a musical, and it teaches us to always stand up for what we believe in, which was beautifully portrayed in the movie,” Sophomore Bianka Pardo said.
Senior Meagan Argullin shared some heartfelt thoughts about the film.
“Going into to watch the movie Wicked, I didn’t have high or low expectations; I just went happy to see the movie in general, but this movie exceeded any expectations I could’ve had,” Argullin said. “From the music, vocals, storyline, commitment to the roles, and all the incredible visuals, I thought the movie was amazingly touching and entertaining. In some moments, I even found myself tearing up, and, even with all the jokes and memes about the last scene, I feel like the ending made me acknowledge the most that Wicked truly was an amazing movie. It only improved when I learned the actors sang everything live on set, and all the props and sets were real. Overall, I think it’s a great movie for all ages and demographics.”
