Have you ever heard one of your friends talk about being in a sport or a UIL activity or simply even a club? Have you ever wondered what it would be like? LFCISD has many programs and activities to offer from athletics such as basketball, softball, track, and diving to more musical clubs like the band, mariachi, and conjunto. Being in these programs could offer great benefits to the students participating.

One of these benefits would be a better resume, by participating in activities such as golf, football, or archery (along with many more) students can build a better resume and have a higher chance of getting into the college of their choice. This is because to participate in these activities require you to have passing grades to be able to participate in them.

Furthermore, these activities could increase your academic performance by keeping you sharp and dedicated to school and further increase your confidence and thinking skills. This is because these programs require a great deal of concentration and will carry over into the students.
