Peanut Butter Bloosoms

If you are craving a traditional Christmas cookie in the beginning of summer, you are reading the right recipe. This delicious cookie is one to crave throughout the year. This is a simple and quick recipe to make delicious cookies.


  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • About 36 Hershey’s Kisses


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the granulated sugar, the brown sugar, the peanut butter, the butter, and the egg. (To get a smoother and faster mix, use an electric mixter.)
  3. After it is well mixed, stir in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder until the mixture turns into a dough.
  4. Shape the dough into balls and roll in granulated sugar. Spread the balls about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes. As soon as the cookie is light golden brown, press 1 Hershey’s Kiss into the center of the cookie.
