Tips for seniors applying to college

Damian Salazar, Staff Writer

There’s a lot of important things for incoming college freshman. One tip is always to scout for scholarships, don’t be scared to ask for help, and always try staying on top of everything.

If you are struggling looking for the right college for you, I recommend you find somewhere that is a perfect fit for you. Do not go to a college for its name, and don’t go to a college just because your friend is going there too. Make sure you find a school that is affordable!

When it comes to how far the school is, it is all up to you. Just take in consideration how much it will cost and if you can afford it. You should start applying to schools at soon as possible, because there is a lot of students applying to colleges and already getting their classes chosen. You do not want to be one of the last students looking for a class and then be left waiting to take the course until the next semester.

All colleges have deadlines so make sure you look at those schools you are interested in and start applying as soon as possible. You can ask the college center to help you get started on the application process.and they can help you contact someone from the school you are interested in if you have any questions.
