Social gatherings in person could cause a high increase of Covid cases due to the excessive amount of people being in one household, even if safety precautions are taken, there will still be a chance of catching Covid.

The safer and smarter way to spend your holidays would be doing it virtually instead of having in-person interactions because you won’t have to be worrying about staying 6 feet apart and wearing a mask. Even though it may not be what people usually do, it would be the best way to help not spread the virus even more than it has.
