Hello! My name is Karina De La Garza, and I am a writer for the Los Fresnos High School newspaper this school semester. I am going through my sophomore year at Los Fresnos United, and I'm currently 15 years old. Aside from newspaper, you may see me participating in other extra curricular activities such as concert band, color guard, and UIL academics. Although I have been doing newspaper writing through UIL academics since last year, this will be my first year publishing my work for the Talon Paper. Any sort of free time for me is usually very limited. However, whenever I get the chance, my go to hobby is bike riding around my neighborhood or the neighborhood of one of my best friends.
