Los Fresnos High School and Los Fresnos United midterms were completed last week for the end of the nine-week marking period.
Block classes took their midterms on Thursday, October 9 in 4th and 5th period, while 1st and 3rd period classes took theirs on Friday, October 10. Only non-skinny or non-extended classes took their midterms last week. Students that were eligible for exemptions to these midterms were given their exemption sheets last week.
As students prepared for their midterms, they worked on the scales that gave them the most trouble.
“I am concerned about my biology class because I struggle the most in it,” Freshman Adriana Morales said.
Last week’s midterms wrapped up the first nine weeks, with the Falcons now into the second nine weeks.
Junior Maite Sias is looking forward to the second nine weeks.
“I feel like this nine weeks will be more entertaining because there’s more events going on, which makes me look forward to coming to school,” Sias said.
