Los Fresnos High School held their first Golden Falcon AV Awards, an exciting new event celebrating student achievement in audio-visual production.
The event took place on May 8 during 4th and 5th periods in the LFHS Lecture Hall. The awards ceremony spotlighted the creativity, talent, and dedication of students involved in AV and media projects throughout the school year.
Themed “Your Moment to Shine is NOW!”, the event featured a live presentation of awards in categories such as Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best PSA, and more. Finalists were selected from dozens of student-created projects, with winners taking home the coveted Golden Falcon trophy—a symbol of excellence in media production.
Students and staff alike were buzzing with anticipation, as the AV department transformed the lecture hall into a Hollywood-style experience, complete with lights, music, and special surprises.
“This is a moment we’ve been building toward all year,” said Mr. Ramirez, LFHS AV sponsor. “Our students have worked incredibly hard, and this awards show gives them the recognition they truly deserve.”
The Golden Falcon AV Awards mark a new tradition at Los Fresnos High School, one that encourages storytelling, technical skills, and creative expression. For the AV students of LFHS, May 8 was more than a ceremony, it was a celebration of their voice and vision.
