Marvel’s latest movie, Thunderbolts, was released in America on May 2.

The events of Thunderbolts takes place after Captain America: Brave New world. The Thunderbolts are a group of anti-heroes working together to take down the old woman they used to work for, Valentine. Near the end of the movie, she calls them the Avengers and the ending credits are filled with people asking and newspapers asking them ‘’Are they our new Avengers?’’,’’Can they even replace them?’’

The Thunderbolts must face their darkest pasts when they touch the ‘‘void’’. The void is a human who was experimented on by Valentina to make him have all the old Avengers powers and become superhuman. As he can’t control it though, he makes people relive their darkest pasts when they touch him and it doesn’t stop till he or the person lets go of each other.

Sophomore Victoria Rodriguez enjoyed the movie when she saw it at the theatre.

‘’The movie was really good,” Rodriguez said. “Even if they make the ThunderBolts the new Avengers, I still think the old Avengers would have a special place in my heart as I basically grew up with them too. I would like to see how they portray the ThunderBolts as the new Avengers.’’
