The Los Fresnos Rotary Interact Club held its annual Pinning Ceremony on April 12, where they recognized club members who have earned more than twenty volunteer hours, acknowledged senior officers, and announced future officers.
This wonderful event was coordinated by the sponsors, Mr. L. Gonzalez and Mrs. J. Kupkowski, as well as senior members of Adult Rotary Interact. This grand event took place to encourage club members to continue working to become distinguished leaders in the community and beyond.
Many heartfelt speeches were held to announce the start of a new chapter, for instance, sponsor Mr. Gonzalez announced his appreciation for the senior executive officers Katherine Farrar, Jayden Rivas, Marco Garza, and Alejandro Juarez who are largely credited to the club’s success. Additionally, he stated that he enjoyed watching his students grow and is looking forward to the next line of officers who will mold the club’s trajectory with the foundation set by previous officers.
Ultimately, this ceremony signified a beginning and an end for the LFHS Rotary Interact Club.
