With only six weeks left of the 2024-25 school year, seniors are getting closer to graduation day on May 24. With the days going quickly, they are approaching a very important chapter in their life as they are still creating memories that will last forever like parties, school pep rallies, sports games, and so much more.
Senior Marcela Tijerina is sad that she will be leaving LFHS but is super excited about this new part of her life.
“I love high school but as my parents have always told me, ‘Good Things always comes to an end,'” Tijerina said. “This quote has stuck with me because it is so true.”
Senior Maria Barrientos will continue playing at soccer at Sul Ross State University, but will miss playing with her underclassmen. She is happy to start new and fresh in Alpine, Texas.
“I will love to start with new people but I will never forget who was there for my four years of high school,” Barrientos said.
