The Los Fresnos Falcon Law club excelled in this year’s regional TPSA competition On January 17 at TSC in Brownsville.
Twenty one students brought home medals and qualified for the state competition in Dallas on March 22-26.
Senior Astrid Martinez, a veteran member in Falcon Law, felt grateful to be part of a school and community that is deeply invested in their future.
“I am grateful to be part of a school and community that is deeply invested in our future, dedicating their time to volunteer and evaluate us both during the week and on weekends,” Martinez said.
Junior Ezequiel Torres, Lieutenant of Falcon Law, felt blessed with an opportunity to compete with his team at regionals this year.
“It took many long days of practice, lots of dedication and hardwork,” Torres. “All of this gifted our SWAT team and we were given the chance to move on to the next round which is state. Not many teams make it but yet we fought our way to that spot.”
Torres also stated if it weren’t for their sponsor Mr.Reyes, they wouldn’t have been able to make it to state.
“Most importantly this couldn’t have been done without our sponsor Mr.Reyes at Los Fresnos United. He stayed with us long hours and sacrificed a lot of his own time in order to be with us and help us prepare.”
The following students placed in their event will be advancing to state in Dallas.
