With the holiday season fast approaching, teenagers everywhere are making their Christmas lists for 2024. This year, their wishes reflect a mix of personal interests, hot trends, and an emerging focus on creativity and self-expression.

At the top of many lists are gadgets and technology. Devices like the latest smartphones, wireless earbuds, and gaming consoles are very popular. Virtual reality headsets and accessories for fun gaming experiences have also become a favorite, letting teens connect with friends in virtual places. Smartwatches and fitness trackers are more popular as teens use technology to monitor their health and fitness goals.

Some other popular choices are gifts dealing with fashion and beauty, creative supplies, and experiences, such as concert tickets and gift cards. 

LFU Sophomore Gabi Martinez is hoping to get a car for Christmas.

“I want a Kia GT-line or any sort of car because I would be able to drive to school and get my learning on,” Martinez said. 

Mia Rodriguez added technology items to her Christmas list.

“I would like to get the new Ipad to screenshot peoples messages, and new Beats since they would blast louder music.” Rodriguez said.
