Los Fresnos held its annual Twelve Days of Christmas Parade on December 7.
The parade started at Arroyo Blvd and 2nd street and ended at the Los Fresnos Park, across from Los Fresnos High School. Christmas parades captured the festive spirit and joy of the season. There were a variety of school events that participated including elementary, middle school, and high school levels, with a total of 14 schools present. Cheerleaders and dancers from across LFCISD brought lots of energy to the parade. The parades featured a variety of visual and auditory elements, such as costumes, decorated floats, Christmas music, and community participation.
Student Viviana Rodriguez from Palmer Laasko Elementary had a great time marching in the parade with her cheerleading team.
“I got to wear a Christmas outfit and I had so much fun doing all of our cheers during the parade,” Viviana Rodriguez said.
LFHS junior Vaniah Rodriguez enjoyed watching her sister perform at the Christmas parade.
“Watching my sister at the Christmas parade was awesome and the parade had an atmosphere full of holiday spirit,” Vaniah Rodriguez said.
