The Los Fresnos Safari has been gaining a reputation around town as more and more people have been visiting the Safari to see all the different types of animals.
The Safari is located at 34748 FM 2480 in Los Fresnos and has a vast collection of animals available to see and interact with. Some include zebras, ostriches, owls, reptiles and many others.
The Safari offers a safari wagon tour which is just the general admission priced at $15, where you can interact with the animals while also learning about them. The priority pass is only $20 and it allows you to cut down any waiting time you may have, has access to the petting zoo, and comes with a guided safari tour. The tipsy safari sips with sloths is a wine tasting that the safari offers that allows you to sip some wine while going around and interacting with the animals as well. The sloth encounter admission allows you to have a one on one with the animals and is good for all ages. The petting zoo also comes with tours starting from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to ensure there’s enough time to get through the whole schedule. The park is much bigger than expected which allows more versatility within the animals. I went around asking about their opinion on the Los Fresnos Safari.
Senior Mya Medina hopes to visit the safari soon.
“I’ve never been, I didn’t even know it was a thing, but I’d love to go,” Medina said. “The animals they have are kind of different from the ones at the zoo.”
