This Saturday, May 11th, the Rotary Interact pinning ceremony will commence at Lago Vista in the evening.
The ceremony will commentate the achievements of all Interact members and their hard work and dedication towards the club.
The ceremony will also announce and pin the new officers for the 2024-2025 school year.
Sophomore and new officer, Therese Garza, commented on how she feels about being pinned as a new officer.
“I feel that there’s a lot of responsibility that comes with the position,” Garza said. “The rotary club is easily one of the largest clubs on campus and we have to make sure everything is in order for the other members. So although it’s an honor to be an officer and to be pinned, I also see it as pressure on my ability to lead.”
Old officers will step down and pass their respective positions onto their successors.
Grand expectations are put on the new team and many plan to see what they have to bring for Interact in the 2024-2025 school year.
