Damsel is a new hit Netflix movie that was released on March 8th, 2024.

Damsel follows the life of Elodie, the daughter of Lord Bayford, whose land is currently struggling for food and resources. Due to this, she agrees to marry a prince. It is soon discovered that this is a scheme as the royal family planned to have her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. 

Millie Bobby Brown’s acting in “Damsel” is exceptional. With already having to portray complex characters, she already knows how to manage and act in these situations. 

Critics may argue that Damsel could be the lowest rated in her Netflix career, but it is all up to personal opinion. 

Damsel has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 56%, and an audience score of 62%. One critic commented, “Damsel might roar onto your screen with the typical princess-in-peril setup, but this Netflix film cleverly subverts expectations. Millie Bobby Brown delivers a powerful performance as Elodie, a princess facing a fate far worse than a grumpy dragon.”
