As the school year of 2023 – 2024 gets closer to graduation day, it really puts into perspective how fast time is going for all of us. It felt like just last week we started our four year journey hoping it would go by as fast as possible and now we want nothing more but to wish for time to slow down.

With there being only 14 weeks left till graduation, we cherish the time we have left with the senior friends we have made along the way as well as prepare ourselves for the upcoming and final year of our high school experience. The feelings that come with finishing school are unexplainable mainly because you begin to feel all types of emotions that range anywhere from happiness to excitement, anger, stress and even sadness.

Although it varies depending on the person, most of us begin to love and enjoy every day before having to say goodbye to the daily routine we’ve all been used to for the past years and it becomes such a bittersweet feeling. Everyone begins to go their own separate ways, friends move far away to their dream college, some stay close to home and others begin working on themselves and try to figure out what it is they want to do.

While it is such a love and hate relationship with the school year almost being over in a couple of months, we wish nothing but the best for this year’s seniors and everyone’s new path that they begin.
