After teasing daily hints on social media about what they chose for this year’s 2024 prom , the theme for the 2024 prom was announced on the junior class Instagram page. The theme is “Enchanted Forest,” and the Prom will take place at the Amigoland Event Center on May 4.

The junior class officers consist of president Robert Nieto, vice president Katherine Farrar, secretary Esmie Ruiz, historian Brenna Castro, and senators Mia Andrade and Hailey Garza.

Farrar said it was exciting process to come up with the theme for Prom. 

“Being able to come up with the ideas and how they start vs. how the finished idea or design turns out and looks is exciting,” Farrar said. “We all had our own thoughts and ideas for this big event and we were all able to incorporate that into the event.” 

Although it was fun to plan, it wasn’t without its stresses. 

“The fact that we are in charge of creating the last and final prom for the seniors and making sure they get to have their ideal dream senior prom they have been looking forward to since they started school is nerve wracking,” Farrar said. “We want to make sure it’s everything they wanted and more.”
