It is finally the new year, and you know what that means?! It means we all get to have a fresh start with different classes and different teachers. I understand if this new semester might be a little frustrating, because you might miss your classes from last year, but look on the bright side. We are really close to finishing another year of high school.
It might take a while to get used to your new classes, so the school excused tardiness from students for the first week, because they know that it is hard to be there on time when you don’t know where you are supposed to be.
In order to start the year right, we all need to make sure our classes are in order, and if they aren’t make sure to talk to your counselor whenever you get a chance. Make sure to be patient, because there are a lot of other students that want a chance to change their schedule.
I am personally looking forward to this new semester, because it means that we get the opportunity to start again, learn new things, and meet new people.
Junior Axel Tijerina was eager to begin a new semester.
“I think it might take me a while to adjust to my new schedule, but overall, I’m excited to see what the new semester has in store for me,” Tijerina said.
I just want to wish everyone good luck on their new semester! I know it can be stressful but I promise you that you will make it and succeed, and I hope you all have the best spring semester!
