New Year Habits/Hobbies
The new year has just begun and it holds many opportunities for you to improve your habits and acquire new hobbies. Trying out healthy habits is a good idea to live a better life and feel better. It is also important to have hobbies or something that you enjoy doing as a form of therapy and as a way to take time for yourself.
Habits:
- Going to bed early and waking up early
- Drinking plenty of water every day
- Reducing screen time on phones or other electronic devices
- Taking time for yourself
- Write down things you want to accomplish daily
- Do things you have been putting off/procrastinating
- Prioritize studying at least 30 minutes daily

Going to be early and waking up early has many benefits that can contribute to you living a healthier lifestyle. The benefits of going to bed early are a decrease in stress, looking better in the morning (well rested), better memory, better health, less likely to develop diseases, and your immune system will be better. Benefits of waking up early include being more productive, having more energy, being calm and having a sense of control, being punctual, and being well-rested. You can go to bed early by making sure that you finish all your work and the things you need to do early, so that you aren’t stressing late at night. Setting an alarm for the time you want to go to bed and the time you want to wake can also help you be able to develop this habit.
