Fall in the RGV is most definitely one of the best times of the year. Though we do not experience fall weather as much as other parts of the world do, we should not let this prevent us from getting into the season.
One festivity that we can do to truly embrace our love for fall is attend a pumpkin patch. There are pumpkin patches scattered throughout the valley that are all worth visiting. Visiting one of them in your free time is not only guaranteed to help bring you into the spirit of fall, but you can also take cute pictures and make memories while attending the patch. Picture memories can be used for holiday gift cards, something to reminisce on about when time has passed from now, or even cute, fall Instagram photos.
Here are some available pumpkin patches that are open to the public currently
- Big B Farms, Los Fresnos
- Maddies Pumpkin Patch, McAllen
- Big Reds Ranch, San Benito
- Rocky Dee’s Pumpkin Patch, Edinburg
One of the most recommended pumpkin patches that is in the valley is The T-Ranch. This one is the most visited and is located in La Feria. Not only are there pumpkins but there are also fall festivities. See below for more information on this specific ranch.
