Next week, Los Fresnos will kick off its annual homecoming week with spirit week, the parade, the homecoming football game, and of course, the homecoming dance.
Throughout the week, you can dress up in different themes according to each day. Monday’s theme is dressing up as your favorite movie character. The character you want to dress up doesn’t only have to be from a movie; it can also be from a show or series. On Tuesday, we are going back to the year 2000. You will be able to dress up like you are in the Y2K. Wednesday is twin day so you can match outfits with your friends. On Thursday, the theme is Barbenheimer. You can dress up in pink for Barbie and black for Oppenheimer. Friday is Falcon Pride, so be sure to wear falcon colors such as maroon and gold as well as homecoming jeans. Homecoming jeans are jeans that you can decorate with your graduation year, jersey number, falcon colors, and anything you want to include on them.
On October 5th at 6:00 pm, Los Fresnos will be having their annual homecoming parade where students of LFCISD will showcase their talents and perform.
Make sure to dress in Falcon colors and go support the Falcon Football team as they take on the Brownsville Rivera Raiders on Friday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium.
On Saturday, October 7th, Los Fresnos High School will have its annual homecoming dance in the dome at Los Fresnos United. The theme this year is Shine Bright. The dance will be from 7-11 pm. Tickets are currently being sold in the morning, during lunch, and after school until 4:40 p.m. Individual tickets and $20, and couple tickets are $35, so make sure to purchase your tickets soon so you don’t miss out on Homecoming.
