Introduction

Jujutsu Kaisen:0 is a film that is based on the backstory of the manga series and anime Jujutsu Kaisen. The movie is about a cursed being that is attached to a character named, Yuta. Throughout the film, it displays various action-packed scenes and humor not to be taken seriously. 

Why The Hype? 

MAPPA, the Japanese Animation Studio, did an amazing job in putting together the film. The art within the film itself is very detailed and well drawn. They are the ones behind other hit animes such as; Attack On Titan and Banana Fish. Moreover, also working on the popular manga series, Chainsaw Man. If this company has taken part in multiple highly well-known anime, we could at least trust that Jujutsu Kaisen: 0 will be as good as the anime’s popularity. 

We also have to admit that a lot of anime fans like the main character, Gojo Satoru, a little too well. To be honest, as always, he carried the film the same way he did with the show. However, besides that, the fight scenes are epic in the film as the storyline build up gives goosebumps. Yes, it is worth it to sit and watch and to gasp along with the film. Then, cackle like Gojo when he and other characters crack a joke.  As a watcher of both the anime and now film, I would personally say that it allows a more in depth as to what to expect in the upcoming season or as a backstory as to what may happen in S3. 

Furthermore…

The movie ends with an ending credit, and you will be left with a question mark in your head. Perhaps it may be part of the upcoming new season? Who knows, but we will find out soon. Side note: take tissues because the movie may be sad. Viewer has been advised.
