Falcon football season!!!
November 2, 2020
Another Year of Los Fresno’s Falcon Football , we kickoff this year as the Falcons had a playoff appearance last season, they hope to continue success with the flex bone offense and try to make a run for the state championship this season. The Falcons have a great team coming this year with some returnees and new players on varsity, The Falcons are ready to show the world what they got.
The Falcons Started off their season opener against The Rivera Raiders as the win 38-16 and was led by their veteran leaders senior Running Back Chris Resendiz and Quarterback Adrian Longoria who led the falcons to victory, also the defense accounted for an interception touchdown return and key stops to help the Falcons win. The Flacons are starting to show the district and state what they are made of. The Flex Bone offense is so unique and confuses many of defenses with the ways the plays are designed and Coach Brown and his staff and done a very good job of implementing that offense in Our School, last year many were confused from the switches in offense as in the past years we ran the “spread ” offense and switched to a more run first Flex Bone Offense. The Defense looks good as always and looking like its ready to make stops as they did last Friday against The Rivera Raiders.
This Friday the Los Fresno’s Falcons Fall short 21-8 to the Brownsville Hanna Eagles , it was a very tough loss as our Mighty Falcons fought until the whistle blew, they learned from their mistakes and errors and hope to bounce back as they face a tough district opponent the San Benito Greyhounds in the Falcons Home Coming Game . The Falcons games with the Greyhounds have always been some good games to watch, both teams are well coached and it will be a good battle. The Falcons hope to continue to use that dynamic offense to trick and separate the gaps in the defense hole and the defense hope to stop the passing game and be able to control San Benito’s quarterback and cause some turnovers.
This season is gonna be very fun to watch and they know they have all the citizens of Los Fresnos cheering for them, we hope to see them make the playoffs this season and go fight for that state championship.
